I am a tinkerer at heart, and my set up reflects that.
It is not a secret that being a developer is not always fun and that is often frustrating and often enough, these frustrations are caused by bad ergonomics around the developer environment.
We all know a couple of "chores" that we all hate doing yet we keep doing the same way every time and hate every second of it. But it doesn't have to be that way.I will go over some more "conceptual" topics or "philosophies" of usability, accessibility and customizability, and what each could mean.
My goal in this talk is to show developers that we can use our skills as developers and develop our own developer environment - we have a very unique job where our tools get sharper the more often we use them and I am would love to show every body how!
